Welcome to the Stephen Marsh is Innocent website

Please wear some vivid pink to show your support for Steve!

If you are going to attend the appeal court to support Steve, please wear an item of vivid pink (or any shade of pink if you don't have anything vivid).

A flower,  tie, scarf, T.shirt, etc.    This will enable us to show support for Stephen while also showing respect for the court. This is why we have chosen a colour rather than printed T. Shirts.

Please let the people who will be coming who don't have access to the website know.  No date for the appeal hearing yet - still a small hope of this side of Christmas but more likely afterwards.

On 17th June 2008 Stephen was granted leave to appeal at the Royal Courts of Justice.  He sends his heartfelt thanks to all his supporters who have stood by him so faithfully.  He thanks his solicitor Glyn Maddocks and QC Michael Birnbaum for everything they have done. He thanks Sandra Lean for her objective analysis of complex information.

It has been a very long road so far and there is much distance left to travel, but we have moved forward.  If you know anything, now is the time to come forward.

We ask for responsible reporting, every individual who is supporting Stephen, and that is a really significant amount of people now, is ready to complain to the appropriate authorities if misleading information is reported.  We have had enough distress, we are exhausted and relieved and are all much, much older and wiser now. We will stand up for Stephen.

Stephen Marsh was having an affair with Rebecca Harris, he wanted to end that affair and had tried to end it several times.  In July 2006 Rebecca Harris murdered Steve's lovely wife Jaz (Jaspal) at Steve and Jaz's home in Gorseinon, Swansea.

Rebecca Harris claimed that Stephen, who was not there (this is not disputed), sent her texts saying 'Do it' and 'Just Do It' and Stephen was jointly convicted of murder. She was sentenced to 12 years in jail, Stephen was sentenced to 18 years. He will never, ever, change his assertion of his complete innocence and so may never come out of prison if we cannot prove his innocence.

The media repeatedly reported that 'evidence showed' that Stephen sent  texts saying the words 'Do It' and 'Just Do It' and anyone could be forgiven for believing that those words must have been physically recovered from a mobile phone.

No texts from Stephen to anyone saying any such thing were ever recovered from anywhere - they exist only in the version of events given by the murderer Rebecca Harris

The 'evidence' referred to was the version of events put forward by Rebecca Harris, this was not made clear by the media, instead by using the phrase 'evidence showed', they allowed their readers and viewers to believe that texts showing those words must physically exist - those words have never been found to exist by any investigation - this is not an opinion this is a fact.

Stephen is innocent - please read the details about the glaring inconsistencies in the evidence and then do what you can to help.  It can be big or small, a message of support means the world to Stephen;  at the other end of the scale you may know something that can help ensure that the truth is revealed.

Stephen's family and friends know that he is innocent, others, who have never met him have taken up his cause in the name of justice, please add your voice to ours to help overturn this  miscarriage of justice.

Please visit the other pages, complete the survey and leave Stephen a message of support. Thank you, it may be a long haul but we will never give up.

If you know anything, however small, that could help him prove his innocence please, please come forward - you can email us here at stephenmarshisinnocent@hotmail.co.uk  or you can contact solicitor Glyn Maddocks on 01873 810629

Sandra Lean, the Author of, 'No Smoke - The Shocking Truth about British Justice' is also calling for Stephen's case to be re-examined, Google Sandra Lean and the book title to see details of her incredibly thorough analyses of other cases.  You can contact Sandra Lean direct to buy a copy of her eye opening book, 'No smoke, the shocking truth about British Justice'
